Mrs. Klusmeyer specializes in providing legal advice and compliance support to registered investment adviser clients. During her time at Parker MacIntyre since 2016 she has provided compliance guidance to investment adviser and broker-dealer clients, assisted with various regulatory filings, drafted compliance policies and procedures, drafted agreements, helped prepare responses to SEC and state examinations, and represented clients in FINRA arbitration. 

Mrs. Klusmeyer maintains familiarity and competence regarding recent developments in securities rules, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and regulations from federal and state regulators, including the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Department of Labor. She has helped clients implement procedures to comply with these developments. She regularly attends conferences in order to keep current with industry regulations, including the 2018 National Society of Compliance Professionals (NSCP) National Conference in Atlanta. She also routinely presents at seminars presented by Parker MacIntyre for registered investment advisers and adviser representatives. Past topics have included RIA advertising on social media, custody resulting from standing letters of authorization, and the now vacated Department of Labor fiduciary rule. 

While at GSU Law school, Mrs. Klusmeyer was a Graduate Research Assistant for the FINRA arbitration clinic, also known as the Investor Advocacy Clinic. In that role, she provided legal assistance to investor claimants, including representing claimants in FINRA arbitration proceedings, interviewing potential claimants, evaluating claims and engaging in settlement negotiations. Mrs. Klusmeyer also participated in the clinic’s outreach objectives by writing about SEC investor alerts, consumer protection advice and other investment-related topics for publication on the clinic’s website. 

During law school Mrs. Klusmeyer was also involved with Moot Court, a student organization that focuses on developing written and oral advocacy skills by representing the law school in appellate advocacy competitions throughout the country. She served as Vice President of Records and participated in the International Trademark Association's Saul Lefkowitz Southeast Regional Moot Court Competition in 2014 and 2015 as a competitor and coach. Prior to her graduation from law school, Mrs. Klusmeyer developed additional litigation expertise through her work as a law clerk for other Atlanta-based law firms in various different areas of law.

Patricia Klusmeyer received a Bachelor of Science degree and Pre-Law Certificate from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2011 and a Juris Doctor from the Georgia State University College of Law in 2015.

While at Georgia Tech, Mrs. Klusmeyer was the Community Service Chair of Phi Alpha Delta, a professional service organization for pre-law students. She also served as both an Editor and Staff Writer for The Technique, the official student newspaper of Georgia Tech, and was a student assistant at the Georgia Tech Alumni Association. Prior to her graduation, Mrs. Klusmeyer interned one summer for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission at the Atlanta District Office in its systemic discrimination division interviewing potential claimants in a class action lawsuit.

Mrs. Klusmeyer is licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia and is admitted to practice in all Georgia Courts. She currently lives in Alpharetta with her husband Alex, their son ,Theodore, and their pet cat, Romy. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, hiking, and trying new recipes.
